This rule will be applicable from 1 October 2022. If a taxpayer has joined this scheme before 1st October, then he can remain connected to this scheme.

Income tax payers will no longer be able to join the Atal Pension Yojana launched by the government to provide guaranteed pension to the citizens of India.
